My Obsession with Jim Morrison
As some of you may know, I am working on a project about Jim Morrison, the lead singer of The Doors. I have been a Doors fan since I was a young, wannabe hippie, and I have always been in love with Jim Morrison—as strange as that may sound.
I actually have a Heaven fantasy: When I die, first I'll go find—or they'll find me—my family members, friends & pets, and then I'm going to go search for Jim Morrison. I absolutely must meet him!! LOL
I have an excellent team of people lined up to help me with with my project:
- I have an artist lined up to do Jim Morrison's portrait.
- I have an illustrator lined up to do drawings of Jim Morrison. I was thinking today, in addition to using the artwork on the website, it might be fun to sell t-shirts & other promo items.
- I have a French photographer lined up to take photos of places in Paris where Jim Morrison still holds a special memory.
- I have a Vedic astrologer writing Jim Morrison's lifetime report.
- I have a Chinese astrologer writing about Jim Morrison's relationships.
- And mixed in between will be my personal commentary, videos of live performances, photographs, etc.
I don't know why I had a calling to do this project, but it came to me in the late summer and is evolving every day. I fully intend for this to be an award winning website, so I'm putting it out there…
And, of course, the site will be built in Joomla.
The JimMorrisonProject.com will be launched on July 3, 2011, the 40th anniversary of Jim Morrison's death.
